You will receive either:
• Injections of the investigational medication + an investigational prophylactic medication, OR
• Injections of the investigational medication alone
Investigational medication injections will be given every 2 weeks during recurring 28-day cycles. If you receive an investigational prophylactic medication, you will use it or take it by mouth twice a day.
The investigational prophylactic medication you receive could be a mouthwash, pill, or disintegrating tablet.
Your total study participation may last up to approximately 2.5 years. During this time, you will have regularly scheduled study clinic visits for health exams and tests.

Research studies allow doctors and researchers to evaluate an investigational medication. When you participate in a research study, you may help them learn more about the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication.
Without your participation, advancements in research for conditions like multiple myeloma would not be possible.
